Learning Management System


As with any other forms of learning, e-Learning depends on its delivery method and content to ensure its success. For this reason, all of SCIPP’s e-Learning courseware is hosted through our user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS). This allows for delivery of awareness training to geographically dispersed employees or customers when or where they need it and provides remote access to management tools that track course attendance and measure individual performance. The LMS can be configured to track additional data points vital for audit and process improvement purposes. Exportable data is collected for each employee accessing the LMS, such as identification, time stamped and sign on, course viewed, time spent within the course, pages viewed and pre and post assessment results used to document completion reports as needed or required. The ability to ‘roll-up’ and drill-down’ completion reports on a functional, geographic or business-unit basis is one of the key components of the LMS. Reports can even be created to trend, track and report on specific departments, individuals or groups. Using interesting, interactive and informative content with fresh visuals and appealing audio, SCIPP’s e-Learning courses are not technical in nature, they are designed to effectively communicate sound security practices that end-users can relate to, increasing retention and application to their job functions.


All of our courseware is SCORM and AICC compliant, so you will have the ability to host the

content on your own Learning Management System, if desirable. However, we highly

recommend using our internet accessible training portal which provides administration,

content delivery and the ability to effectively track the success of your organization’s awareness

program.

By combining digitally delivered content with learning support services, e-Learning is an effective learning process that in some ways, is even better than classroom learning methods as it is one-on-one, self-paced and utilizes multiple types of media to greatly effect memory and recall. Undeniably, e-Learning provides faster learning at reduced costs, increased access to learning, and clear accountability for all participants in the learning process.
